Night Photography workshop Wednesday April 28th. Bring your tripods and cameras with normal to wide zoom lens to the tunnel under Ridgeview by the maintenance yard at 7 PM. Good news! The meeting rooms are opening back up. After more than a year of closure we will be having the weekly meetings in the Agate Room at 9 AM Friday mornings starting May 14th. Field trip to the Barrios of South Tucson by downtown was a well attended outing. Sunday April 11th we met at the HOA2 parking lot for 8AM departure. A few streets were visited around the 5 Points area. Many photos are in the gallery at the bottom of this homepage.
Field trip to Mesquite Valley Nursery and the B&B Cactus Farm on Speedway Blvd on Tuesday April 6th to photograph the flowers, cactus, sculptures and pottery was a big success. Hundreds of plants were in bloom and we took thousands of pictures.

Barbara Wilder and Bill Johnston set up the locations and we had 14 members participate in a photo scavenger hunt. See the submitted photos below in the gallery.

SaddleBrooke Photography Club is still active each week on the zoom platform during the pandemic and closures. At 9 AM each Friday morning join in the discussion and sharing of photos pertaining to the theme of the week. Use the link Launch Meeting – Zoom to log on. More details are in the weekly emails. 2021 will still be a challenging year, but staying active in photography will help our physique and psyche. Soon we hope to be able to meet in person to do field trips and open studios.
Congratulations to all club members who contributed photos to the ACCC Spring Roundup on March 13th. The keynote speaker was Darell Gulin a noted nature photographer telling us “you can take photos during a pandemic right in your neighborhood.” He showed his techniques and shots of flowers, birds, and butterflies in his backyard garden.
Below are some of the photos submitted for the weekly zoom meetings assignments.
